Reflect on our class discussion of Everyday People today. Include the discussion as well as the poetry activities with the posters and such. Tell me what you think? Expect? Want to see? Would you like to create your own lyrical review? What theme would you use?

I think that letting everyone pick a line from the song and then telling what they think the main idea is, a good way to express yourself. I really can’t expect anything with my class. I want to see everyone in my class do a good job. Yes I would like to create my own lyrical review because I like to create a type of music. I would use a caring theme because that is what I am.

I thought that was fun. I like how you took the theme song and found the lyrics. Then we had to figure out what the main idea was. It was very simple yet very informative. I would expect to take other songs and do this again. I hope to see more of this activity. I don’t think I would want to make my own lyrical review. I don’t even know what it sometime you should explain! I don’t know what theme I would use. I might have to get back to you on that. Like I said I really liked this activity! Also I like the poster thing. It’s ok!

I liked using the posters it is a way to do group work and be creative but still have something to do with ELA. I liked looking at the lyrics of the song and talking about what we think that the main idea was because there was no wrong answer(s) and we got to hear how different people felt about the song.

the poster was fun and we got to be creative. I like working in groups because we can discuss what we are doing with our group. Also reading lyrics of the projetor was fun because we learn really what the song is about. I like how we all got a chance to talk about how we fell about the song.
